Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers

Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers
This story was a powerful read I loved every bit of it I laughed out loud, cried, I even felt though I wanted to throw this book across the room. In this retelling of the bible story of Gomer and Hosea.

Sarah/Angel was so lost & broken she trusted No one especially Men; So when Michael Hosea came into her life she was not having it at all. He was like No man she had ever known or met. For one he belived in God for that alone she knew he was crazy. Yet can this one man show her what true Love is? Can he show her she can have a new life a life God wants for her? Michael Hosea was a man so obedient and strong who loves the Lord with his whole heart. So when the Lord asked him to marry Angel the most beautiful woman he has ever set eyes upon also the most sought after high priced prositute in Pair-a-dice. Will he trusted in the lord enough to do what he called him to do?
This story showed me just what true love is and No matter how or what we do the lord will never fail us. All we need to do is to trust an believe in him even through our most terrible sins God always forgives and loves us all unconditionally. I recommend this book hands down by yourself or in a book group this an amazing book. I can wait to read another story from Francine Rivers.

The Fourth Fisherman By Joe Kissack

I have to say that this book took me sometime to finish reading. I feel that this book is very Inspirational it pulled me reading about the lost fishermen at  sea.  I got sort of lost when Joe Kissack started to talk about his own life. I had to stop and process where he was going with his side of the story it confused me when he went from walking the Red carpet to fishermen lost at sea. I guess he felt that his life was parallel to those fishermen and the journey that God put him through in order to tell their story. I did like this book but I also feel this book did dragged on a little bit. I would recommend this book to others who are feeling that they are lost an that need some good Inspiration as well as hope in their lives. This book I think would be great for a book club or reading group it would be good for great discussions. I would like to know more about the fishermen now that they are home  and its been several years later it would make for a second book that I would read. I hope you enjoyed my review till next time Happy Reading!
