First off when I requested this book for review I did not know that it was the last book in the S.EC.R.E.T Trilogy.
Therefore I had to read both books 1 and 2 just in order to follow what was going on in this book.
In this book you get:
S.E.C.R.E.T: A secret group of Women who’s member go out in search of the most saddest women with the lowest self esteem to join their group by help them to over come there low self esteem an sadness by giving them free trips along with the most hottest guys ever to fulfill the most desired sexual fantasies. Oh yeah there are Steps… 10 of them that every New recruit can do in order to win a lovely gold charm for their lovely S.E.C.R.E.T Bracelet.
Cassie: A women who is now trying to get over her heart break that Will gave to her. Why is she wanting this jerk I have know clue. (My thoughts here…Sorry I’m not in to guys who have a girlfriend then break up with that girlfriend we have sex then I have to hear from the ex-girl friend that they are having a kid and now there are a couple again! Then Will finds out the kid is not his bummer.. So guess who I can now run back to Cassie who in my mind “Will’s Mind” has been sitting at home alone strumming her fingers waiting for me! Will finds out about Cassie’s involvement in the S.E.C.R.E.T group walks out on her after call her a Lying Hoe).. She is now trying to just focus on her new Recruit as well her hot sexy Fantasy man Jesse..
Solange: A newly Divorced mother who has truly let her self go she rather work than focus on trying to find a date. She still lives in the same house where she did when she was a little girl. who cares if its falling apart around her and her son Gus. Julian is her ex-husband and they co-parent Gus. Julian is a great father to Gus it was only his relationship with Solange that didn’t work out.
This book was so hard for me to connect to it just didn’t pull me in at all. I felt like I was waiting and waiting for Cassie to get a backbone but sadly it never came for me. The Fantasies were like over the top and so not believable. I really think the story should have just focused on Cassie not sideline stories about the recruit’s.
I received this book for Free from Blogging for Books in exchange for my honest review of this book!
