Who Wrote It:

Rebecca Lang is a food writer, cooking instructor, television personality, and a ninth-generation Southerner. Born and raised in South Georgia, she is the author of five cookbooks, including Quick-Fix Southern and Around My Southern Table. She serves as a contributing editor for Southern Living, and teaches cooking classes across the United States. Rebecca lives in Athens, Georgia, with her husband and children.

My Thoughts:

 I could not wait to get my hands on Rebecca Lang new book Fried Chicken. I thought I knew a lot about frying chicken little did I know. I love how Rebecca breaks it down to the basics in the chapter Frying Chicken 101 learning why size matters when frying chicken or how to cut up a whole chicken properly. The pictures throughout this cookbook were amazing an beautifully done. Okay now let me tell you a little about the recipes in this book they are so easy to follow and so freaking delicious. Here are a just a few to name Buttermilk-Soaked, Bacon-Fried Chicken in Gravy…Thai style Drumsticks with sweet chile sauce…Tennessee Hot Chicken… There are so many great recipes throughout this whole cookbook. I must say Rebecca Lang stuck her FOOT & KNEE in this one it that good. If you love Fried Chicken an want to try to change things up a bit then I Highly Recommend this book to you!
